Terms of use

Company Analyst is a free, public-information website that displays UK Companies House data with some analysis and context. By using the site you accept the terms below.

What this site is

Company Analyst displays public information from Companies House plus some derived figures (sector medians, year-on-year trends, narrative summaries). See our data sources page for the full list.

What this site is not

It's not professional financial, legal, tax, investment, credit, or accounting advice. The site is informational only. Don't make business or financial decisions on the basis of figures here without checking the underlying filing at Companies House and, where relevant, taking advice from a qualified professional.

It's not a real-time service. Data refreshes on a schedule — typically daily for new filings, monthly for the full register snapshot. There may be a lag of hours or days between something changing at Companies House and the change appearing here. Always check the latest filing date displayed and confirm at the source if timing is material.

Accuracy and warranty

We aim to mirror Companies House data faithfully and to derive only sound figures from it. But the site is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, fitness for any particular purpose, or fitness as a basis for decisions. Errors at Companies House are reproduced here until corrected; our own parsing and aggregation may also occasionally contain bugs. We disclaim liability to the maximum extent permitted by law for any loss arising from use of this site.

Removal / correction requests

To correct an underlying record, contact Companies House directly — we can't change the source data. To request a redaction on our display while the underlying record is being updated, email hello@companyanalyst.co.uk. See our privacy notice for more detail on personal-data rights.

Changes

If we add paid features in future (for example, downloadable reports or premium analysis), they'll have their own additional terms covering payment and refunds. The terms here cover the free, browse-only experience.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
